Tawa Chicken is the famous Indian recipe of Punjabi cuisine. Chicken pieces, cooked with various of Indian spices, served with Parathas, Rotis and Butter Nun.
This is basically a Dhaba recipe, but you can make it at home in some very easy steps. Let's try this recipe.


INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

1. Boneless Chicken - 500gm
2. Chopped Ginger (2TbSP)
3. Chopped Garlic (2TbSP)
4. Chopped Green Chili (3Pcs)
5. Chopped Tomato (1Pcs)
6.  Turmeric Powder (1TSP)
7.  Cumin Powder (1TSP)
8. Coriander Powder (1TSP)
9. Red Chili Powder ( 1/2 TSP)
10. Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (1TSP)
11. Garam Masala Powder (1TSP)
12. Lemon Juice (1TbSP)
13. Curry Leaves 
14. Butter (1TbSP)
15. Mustard Oil (4TbSP)
16. Salt (1 1/2 TSP)


STEPS OF PREPARATION


1. Cut chicken breast into small cube pieces. 
2. Add 4TbSP mustard oil into the pan. When the oil heats up add 2TbSP chopped ginger and 2TbSP chopped garlic into it, fry it about 30sec.
3. add chicken pieces, 1TSP turmeric and salt, mix well.cook for 3 to 4min.
4. When the water from the chicken little bit dries out, add cumin powder,coriander powder, red chili powder, kashmiri red chili powder. Mix all the spices very well and fry until the raw smell of the spices goes off.
4. Add the tomato pieces, green chilies and lemon juice, mix, cover and cook till tomatoes are soften.
 5. after 5 minutes add the garam masala, chopped curry leaves and butter, mix it for the last time and turn off the heat.
6. cover and let it be as it is for 3 minutes then serve with your favourite 'Parathas'.
